The breakfast with more options. One of the advantages - nice modern rooms; they included a shower, hairdryers, and towels.

The cafe/restaurant facilities were very good.
The bathroom drain had a strong unpleasant smell.

Location
My room 4-527 had no natural or artificial ventilation. The bed had a thin uncomfortable mattress and cheap nasty pillows. Without doubt the worst room I have ever stayed in. Avoid.

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The location was excellent. Facilities a lot nicer than you would expect for the price. Very central to city but on a quieter street so no noise at night.
Although the bed was made up in the room every day the glasses in the room were not washed / replaced daily and the shower was not cleaned during our visit. Minor niggle but the spaekers in the bathroom were not working

Loved our good modern rooms in this hotel.
The restaurant was really great for dinner, we ordered tasty dishes. The location in a very convenient area was unbeatable and excellent and there were shopping malls and a large supermarket nearby. It also provided a wide array of restaurants and cafes.

I've stayed several time in this hotel also. And I like its location, rich breakfast and very nice staff! I feel comfortably in Metropol! Of course, I'll come to Metropol again.
I'd like all of this hotel/

Couple seeking relaxation, beware
The room I got had this amazing view of the old town that definitely. The staff seemed friendly enough-when they weren't ignoring us, that is.
Sure, it wasn't exactly cheap, but I'd say it still fit the bill for what I needed.

I recently stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the spacious room, the comfortable double bed, and the well-kept sauna facilities. However, the photos did not match the lobby's chic vibe, which felt a bit more dated than expected. I'd consider this place again.

Good location (not in the hustle & bustle of the city, but not too far from it, either) and very good views of the city.
The floor was not cleaned daily and there was a horrible smell coming from the drains in the toilet. The room can get insanely hot in the afternoon (if facing the city) - to the point that I had to ask for a fan.

Hotel in a great location for airport access, port access and walking to the old town. Rooms clean and secure, with friendly, efficient staff on reception. Good choice at breakfast.
